Sakana Terrace — Restaurant in Maizuru

A lovely restaurant near the Maizuru Port sightseeing ship pier—just beside the iconic Red Brick Warehouses photo spot (there’s even a thoughtful selfie stand nearby on the grass!). They’re likely a partner of “Kyoto by the Sea” and offer delicious local seafood sets. Prices are around 500–1000 THB (depending on your order), similar to a good Japanese meal in Thailand—totally worth it.

The staff were very friendly, especially a young lady who helped me with Google Translate and gestures. When my phone completely ran out of battery, she kindly made an exception and let me charge it—thanks to that, my afternoon went smoothly. Another lady, slightly older, was also very kind and welcoming.

The seafood set was generous and satisfying—loved the oysters and fish roe in my meal. Thank you for the hospitality!
