We wanted to get a nice breakfast before our journey back to Tokyo in 1,5 hours at this place. When we entered the restaurant it looked very nice, with welcoming staff and a good atmosphere. In front of us were 5 parties waiting but we didn‘t mind because we already saw 3 free tables that only needed cleaning when entering. What we didn’t know is that the service was very slow and unorganized. For example: Tables weren’t cleaned for 20 minutes although there was a line of people waiting. There was one table with 5 places and several with 4 places available and as there was a group of 4 and 5 in front of us we thought they will place them accordingly. But no they placed the group of 4 to the table with 5 places and had to split the group of 5 to two separate tables. As we were waiting at the kitchen area we saw how food and drinks that were already prepared stood there for minutes before they got to the table. All in all not good service.
After 30 minutes of waiting, seeing several free tables that still weren‘t cleaned, customers getting to the counter to complain and one of the groups in front of us who got a table 20 minutes ago but still didn’t have coffee on their table we left the restaurant. So please don‘t visit this place if you don’t mind waiting for hours.
As we were the only foreigners we don‘t feel that only we were treated this way as many other Japanese people faced the same fate. We can’t tell you anything about the food and drink quality as we sadly weren’t able...

The decor was a delightful surprise, with its charming, retro style that felt straight out of a classic TV drama. I ordered the American breakfast, while my friend opted for the rice cakes. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals and left...
