食事処 千 — Restaurant in Motobu

We stopped here to grab dinner on the way back from the aquarium. It was 5pm, opening time for the bar but all 10ish tables have been reserved except for one outdoor table.

The food was not disappointing. Every guest must order a drink, that is ok, but you will still be thirsty since the food is on the salty side, but tasty.

My fav is their japanese fried chicken on the appetizer menu. That was the best chicken I have ever had so far in Okinawa in our 4 day conquest. No breading but still crispy.

Not sure why you still need to ask for a spoon even when ordering the ramen noodle dish.

All and all, I would recommend, but call first to avoid not having a table when...

Such a sweet little local spot that we felt so lucky to have dined at. The food was consistently so so good!! It was fresh, came out piping hot and left us wanting more even after we were full. The grilled prawns and pork belly were standouts, along with the fresh salads that came with them.

The mostly local crowd speaks volumes about the place, as does everyone hanging out and enjoying themselves on the patio long after the eating was done. I wish I could go back!!
