After a nice afternoon walking around Tropical Dream we had worked up an appetite. We found this cute spot on Google maps and ventured there excited to check it out. We drove up a small road lined with wild plants that made us feel like we were driving i to the jungle. This quaint spot had a few parking spaces and we were happy it was open during a time most places in the area close for a few hours. The menu was pretty extensive and had options for everyone. Our party of five ate many items from the menu and we all liked our dishes. For the table we got the fried platter to share and all dug in. I ate the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. It was a crunchy thick piece of meat with a slightly sweet sauce and a tasty bun. The apple pie soda was scrumptious as well. The service was friendly and prompt. The prices were reasonable. The restaurant was clean and well decorated. I look forward to...
Read moreI'm so glad we found this little gem! Tucked away in Motobu close to the aquarium, this place was a wonderful spot for my early risers. An important note for my family is that they have a highchair with straps to buckle in your squirmy kid. Between us, we tried the large breakfast, the western breakfast, and the kids meal. It was all delicious, with the karage chicken and French toast fan-favorites. They were super thoughtful and brought out the kids meals ASAP so the starving children could get started. They have a lovely outdoor area to eat, as well, but as it was raining, we opted for indoors. I'm hoping to get back simply to try their...
Read moreI can’t speak highly enough about the quality of the food at J.’s Kitchen. The seasonings are wonderful and even the simplest dishes have an extra blast of flavor. Our group of 7 tried almost half the items on the menu and every single one was delicious. For those on a vegan diet, there are plenty of options including the delicious chili garlic spaghetti (just order without bacon). They also have an extensive drink menu with creative creations like the Apple Pie Cola, Ginger Mojito, and Blue Hawaii float. And for beer and sake lovers, there’s something for you too! We will definitely be back to this little oasis in the jungle.
UPDATE: I’ve been back to J’s 5 times now and the food and service are continuously exemplary. Highly recommend...
