This was our first conveyor belt restaurant in Japan, and as we speak very little Japanese, we were nervous to try it out. But we didn't need to be, because this place was INCREDIBLE. The staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. They give you a table number, and you get a tablet with various language options to order from. It's not the conventional type of conveyor belt that's constantly cycling different options past people -- instead you order what looks good on the tablet, and your specific order is whisked directly to your table on the belt (sometimes within a minute!). There's a huge menu with appetizers, sushi/nigiri, and desserts. And it's CHEAP! Each plate of sushi/nigiri is only about $1-2, and the desserts were great for the price (you can't beat a decent, if small, slice of cheesecake for less than $2!). You can check your bill as you go and know exactly how much you'll have to pay when you take your ticket back up front. We ate a pretty good amount of sushi, a meal that probably would've cost the two of us about $75 at a regular sushi restaurant back home, for a grand total of about $30 here.
Everything about this restaurant was fantastic. Great food, great staff, great atmosphere and experience. Do not be intimidated. Try it out...
Read moreGreat place for conveyor belt sushi! The menu is large which includes: sushi of various types (nigiri, gunkan etc), fried foods (chicken, potato, seafood), and desserts. The price compared to the quality is great. The Lemon Sour here seems to have high quantity of alcohol compared to the other places in Nagano I've been to which is a big plus. Direct orders, for when you don't see what you want on the belt, are brought to you by way of a small shinkansen-looking train which is pretty cool. If I ever find myself in Nagano again, I will definitely visit again! The only downside for tourists is the location, but the route there for Nagano station is rather...
Read moreWe went there in two people and we had our own booth. The staff does not speak English but it is not a problem, they are smiling and you can feel comfortable. They have menu in English and you can either take from the conveyor belt or you can make your own order on tablet and in few minutes your plates arrive on shinkansen :) We really enjoyed tasty sushi, they have wide variety of different sushi plates and also some side dishes. People go there often with children, but there was no noise. The price of a ordinary plate is 108 Yen which is a really good value for...
