Noodles Kirinji — Restaurant in Nagano

small but comfortable restaurant, attentive attendants, always full restaurant, menu only in Japanese language prices in kanji and no photos, it is better to visit this place the pasta is made right there in a separate room, the ramen is very tasty the pasta it is fine cooked al Dente, I ate the chicken with salt broth "tori soba", very rich and tasty broth, it came with a slice of pork and one of chicken, my husband ordered the "chuuka soba" soy sauce, more I liked mine better, the dumplings are big the thicker dough is normal for its size, but I thought it was normal, I'll be back to eat...

Located outside of the main centre of Nagano, Kirinji is apparently popular among the locals.

Recommeded by our lovely boutique host from Shiori-ya, it did not disappoint.

Kirinji has both tsukumen style ramen as well as the classic soups. The soups range from clear and light to a thick chicken broth to a heavy, flavourful tsukumen.

The taste is amazing and the hearty, umami flavour just goes so well with the meat and noodles.

「食べログ百名店EAST（2024）」巡り。今回訪れたのは、2013年のオープン以来、長野でトップクラスの人気を誇るこちらのお店。

平日木曜日。新幹線で向かうためネットでチケットを購入し、予定より30分早く家を出たものの、埼京線が人身事故などで“最凶線”と化し、大幅に遅延。その影響で予定していた新幹線に乗れず、次に来た全席指定の新幹線には立ち乗りで乗ることとなり、10時30分頃、疲労困憊の状態で現地に到着しました。

スタッフの方が「よろしければ椅子に座ってお待ちください」と声をかけてくださり、椅子を出してくれたおかげで、最後の30分は快適に待つことができました。

11時のオープンと同時に、すぐ店内へ。
