It is a great place to hang out for one to a few people. I was alone and had the sashimi teishoku (刺身定食) plus tea and beer with medium-sized mug. The owner was friendly and I had a chance to talk to him about places to visit around Nagano. Thanks to him I was also able to meet and make new friends who were in the same shop. It was a very special feeling.

I have been here for lunch. Lunch set starting at 880 yen for Sushi set. There are 3 set for lunch: sushi / sashimi / chirashi Fish quality is good. Price is reasonable. You need to come here before noon. Otherwise, all seats are full. Recommended here for lunch 👍👍

I cannot rave enough about this restaurant and the owners! The sushi was spectacular!!!! One of the best we have had in Japan. We have been to Japan 8 times doing the small towns, Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka, been there. What you find here is the heart of Japan, the people who make you want to come back and make the country feel like you are a local. Thank you!!! They even went above and beyond, when we couldn't find a taxi to take us to our hotel, and they took us!!! That kindness is very rare in today's world. This is why we keep coming back! Thank you!! Excelent restaurant! The sushi and Nigiri were delicious. The family that runs the restaurant was super friendly and lovely. They helped us with the language and made excellent suggestions. They were very sweet and gave us ice cream as a gift at the end of the meal. It was very nice to have a conversation with them using a translator. The service was fast, and the price was fair.
