It’s been a while since the last time I had Ramen. And I was so hungry when I arrived there so I jumped in this ramen restaurant without knowing anything. So I got Kuro Ramen randomly. The broth, darkened by soy sauce and infused with aromatic spices, delivered a bold umami punch that tantalized the taste buds. Some of the absolute best meals I've had in Japan have been in train stations. We were staying right next to Nagasaki Station and wanted ramen, lo and behold we found Babake. It's a tiny little shop among shops and we were so blown away we came back again the next day. They have an English menu in case you don't speak or read Japanese.
