Annam — Restaurant in Nagoya

First off, the ambience is amazing, really moody and atmospheric. Decor is superb, one of the nicest looking restaurants I’ve been to in Nagoya. Prices aren’t too bad, expect to pay around 1000 per plate, and I recommend a deep dive if you’ve got some brass to spare! Drinks are 5-600. Service was fast and efficient, we weren’t kept waiting long. However unfortunately our evening was somewhat spoiled by a very loud party of four on a nearby table. I’m not sure if they were regulars, or known to the staff, but they were noisy and obnoxious almost from the point they sat down, shouting, laughing almost constantly and even singing off-tune at one point. I’m not sure if they were drunk. It made it difficult to have a conversation. We didn’t complain, and simply paid our bill and left, but we were disappointed that the staff didn’t say something...

何回かランチで感動しましたので、今回はコースを頼んで伺いましたが、日本人の男性スタッフの対応が本当に酷い。帰ろうかと思いました。 コースの中にいくつか選択する場面があり、写真もないのでソースの説明をお願いしたところ、分からなかったようですが、厨房に聞くこともなく彼の言い放った言葉は「コースを選ぶ時にどうやって選んだんですか？私は今、説明しましたから！！」と。そもそも18時に予約をし、２、３分前に到着しましたが18時10分になっても店員さんは誰も来ないので呼んで来てもらいましたが、その時点でおしぼりもなく、飲み物の注文も受け付けてもらえず、まずは、コースの中を決めてくれ、ということで文頭のやり取りです。コースの説明を出来ないなら、少しお待ちくださいと言って聞きに行けば良いだけだと思うのですが、彼は頑なに聞いてきてくれませんでした。再度確認しましたがコースをネットで注文する際、詳細など載っていませんでした。料理が美味しいので、彼の態度だけが本当に残念でした。帰り際、ありがとうございましたもなく、、、何だか、悲しい夕飯でした。クチコミで酷評されている方なんでしょうね。改善無いようですね。さようなら、アン...
