I almost gave this place a pass due to the rather strange sounding name of the restaurant for a place that serves Indian food. I thought it would be non-authentic and catered to the Japanese palatte like some other Indian restaurants I’ve been to in Japan. Not at all! We were quite hungry as we skipped lunch due to a rushed sightseeing and found this place. Since we are from Bangalore or South Indian we simply dived into this option without thinking twice! We are vegetarian so took full meals with unlimited rice, sambar and rasam refills. The kids had chapati/roti and we finished off with masala...

休日の夕食で利用しました。 時間的には少し早かったので、食事系のお店前には行列もまだできかけの状態でした。 こちらのお店は、店内に2組のお客さんがいただけだったので、イートインで利用しました。 南インドのカレーがどんなものかも知らない状態でのチャレンジです。 メニューには🌶️マークで辛さが表示されているので、オーダーするときの参考にしました。 色んな味を楽しみたかったので、カレー＆ビリヤニプレートをオーダー。カレーは数種類から2つ選ぶことができましたので、辛くなさそうなものを2つチョイス。オーダーは自分の携帯から行うシステムです。最近増えましたね。他人が触った端末からオーダーするより気持ち的に良いです。 メインがカレーなので口内非常時に備えて、ハイボール🍺を併せてオーダーして待つこと数分。 直径30cmくらいの銀のプレートに色んな物が盛られて提供されました。 見ていて楽しいプレートです。 まずは縦横比がかなりおかしい米で作られたビリヤニから一口頂くと、スープの味がしっかり染みて、辛味もなく美味しいものでした。 白いヨーグルトみたいなソースをかけて食べるのが一般的だと聞いたので、慣例にならって食べ進めました。 また同じプレートにはライス(ターメリックライス？)も盛り付けられていて、ご飯のおかずにご飯の構図でしたが、分類上はお好み焼き定食と同じと考え、気にしないこととしました。 カレーも辛すぎず、日本人向けにアレンジしてあるのか、食べやすかったです。 テーブルには3種類の味変調味料が置かれていたので使用してみました。 豆の粉(白いやつ)はコクがあって、旨味が増したように感じました。これはかなり好きな感じなので、次回からはこれ一択になりそうです。 ハイボールにとてもよく合うカレーでした。 ちなみに黄色いライスはおかわりができるので、腹ペコの時は助かるでしょうね。 サラダがもう少しあるとなお良しです。
