Hachibee — Restaurant in Nagoya

We visited the izakaya dinner time. There was an open kitchen in the center, and counter seats were arranged around it. The interior was very clean and cozy, with a unified wooden design. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. They kindly advised us when we ordered, and were attentive throughout the meal.

We chose draft beer and sake from the menu, and also ordered a tempura assortment and a sashimi assortment. All the dishes were fresh and delicious, and we were especially impressed by the freshness of the sashimi. The meat tofu and dashi-wari sake are highly recommended. The meat tofu had a perfect seasoning, and the dashi-wari sake matched well with the food.

This izakaya was very lively and offered reasonable Japanese cuisine using fresh seafood. We visited without a reservation and managed to get a seat, but the restaurant was full and some customers could not get in. Therefore, we suggest making a reservation. It was a restaurant worth considering revisiting, given the quality and atmosphere...

良さげなお店の外観を眺めて地下まで階段で降りていくけど、階段が狭いのとお店の入り口までは少しだけ長く感じたかな。

元気なスタッフさんの歓迎を受けて店の入り口をくぐるとイメージしていたより狭い店内だったけど、お客さんとお店の活気が程よく溶け合うようなアットホームな感じの活気で、こちらも勝手に楽しくなっちゃう雰囲気が良かったです。このとき既に満席、彼が前に座ったというカウンター席の横が立ち飲み席になってたので空くまで立ち飲みも楽しめました。

ここの看板は『お寿司、お刺身、天ぷら』という食のご馳走状態。メニューを開くと食べてみたいものしかない、腹の隅々まで美味しいもので埋められそうな"オススメ"のオンパレードのようなメニューは見るだけでテンションがあがりました。

先ずは『お刺身5種盛り』からいただきました。目で見てもわかる色艶、おいしくないはずがない（笑）私たちの地元の三河と違う旬魚のラインナップも楽しかったし美味しかったです。

飲み物もいろいろあって、同じものを飲むなら"ヤキャンタ"って、4杯ほどが入った小さなヤカンで飲むのがお得でオススメみたいだけど、私は抹茶と玄米茶の効いた「コウバシ茶ハイ」にドハマったので、これを"中入れ"で最後までおかわりを楽しみました。

オーダー直後に目の前で直ぐ揚げて直ぐ出てくる揚げたての『天ぷら』も絶品！ひとつひとつ美味しかったですよ。盛り合わせを頼んでる方もいたけど、魅力的な品々がメニューにならんでたので食べたいものを少しずつ選んで食べました。

〆に食べた『握り』も美味しかったけど、お店の人気メニューの『ネギ塩レバ刺し』や『カニクリームコロッケ』も美味しいし、まだまだ気になってる一品ものも食べたかったけど、さすがに胃袋はストップ（笑）また名駅に来た時にはここに来るのも楽しみのひとつになりました。

スタッフさん同士も仲良くて楽しい人たちばかり、初めてでも会話できる皆さんたちのおかげで居心地も良かったです。

Went here to satisfy a crave on having izakaya and it didn't disappoint. Quite a crowded place and noisy but the food was yummy. Some orders were missing and needed to remind the staff some hasn't been served. Be mindful of what was ordered and don't expect...
