When getting conveyor belt sushi, my first choice is always Kurasushi solely due to the bikkurapon game. I recently returned to Japan for a holiday for the first time in about 7 years and noticed that they introduced a new feature: pay an extra ¥10 per plate and you are guaranteed to win.

As for the food, I don’t tend to order raw fish, so I can’t compare the quality, but the things that I do order, such as crab salad and tarako, seem to be on par. The only thing I’d have to say is they’re a bit heavy-handed with the mayonnaise. The non-sushi items were also satisfying. The chawanmushi was silky soft and my parents really enjoyed the sashimi platter, particularly because the fish was chilled, making it quite refreshing.

Dessert was unsurprisingly a bit of a miss. I could’ve done without the chocolate cake, but I didn’t come here for cake, anyway. If you just want a little sweet something after your meal, it suffices for something cheap and mass produced, but if you’re looking for a proper dessert, save your money...

I love these types of sushi places, and Kura Sushi is usually pretty decent. However, this location seems not as good. The nigiri was a little slimy and didn’t taste as fresh, but it was overall not horrible. I didn’t like the cashier’s attitude however when I asked about where the toilet is. She seemed annoyed at my low Japanese level and eventually said there was no toilet, however upon leaving there was a toilet down the hall. I don’t know why she couldn’t point me in the direction. I felt perhaps because I was a foreigner I was treated differently? But I don’t know since it was my first time here. Maybe she is rude to anyone. Sushi Chain Stores It took an hour queue for a seat during our visit. Sushi prices are cheap compared with many others.

The seafood, fish, scallop, squid, and prawns are fresh. You may choose from the menu or take it from the sushi belt. A cool water jar is located near the cashier counter. If you want the hot water you may take it by pressing the button on your table seated. Green tea powder is also located on every table.

Over all is recommended to try out and easily can try out many dishes as the price are very reasonable...
