We stayed here for two nights in a short weekend trip. The hotel has a good location as it is near the Sakae shopping area. However, it will still take around 15 minutes to walk there, not the best location if you’re with family and kids. We are driving and the hotel has a designated parking spot for 1,000 Yen per night. There are many parking lots nearby.||||Our room is a furnished twin room. It is clean, comfortable and more spacious than what we’ve seen before. Other than the desk, there is an additional table between two beds, which is very handy for us. On the other hand, there is no moisturiser in our room. Bathroom is clean. Unfortunately, the bathroom kits provided do not match the standard. There’s no comb in the kits and you have to take it from lobby if you need one. I think the experience here doesn’t match the high price tag.||||Our package has breakfast included. The breakfast is not very spectacular as there is only a limited selection of dishes, but it was acceptable and saves time. ||||The worst thing about this hotel is the service. This hotel is not very tourist-friendly. From time to time, they ignored us and gave priority to Japanese customers. In one incident, they have ignored us for 10 minutes. They have stated in their official website that a PC station is available for use in the lobby. However, when we tried to look for that to print our boarding pass, they simply responded (in a rude way) that this is business service and they don’t provide that. When we showed him the hotel’s webpage, the staff then said the PC was decommissioned so we could not use it, while there are plenty of printers right next to the staff. On the other hand, even though WiFi was provided for free, they didn’t tell us the password. Nor did they have a password sheet in the room. We need to ask them for the password and they were not good with spelling the password on the phone in English. We actually know some Japanese but we still find the experience daunting.||||To conclude, our experience in this hotel does not match with its high price tag. If I were to visit Nagoya again I would search for...

Read moreThe room was quite pleasant although a bit dated. Bigger than most of the rooms we had in our 10 days in Japan. Usual amenities supplied except the hotel had no internet at all. Not even a creaky old desktop in the lobby. The best they could offer us was a 10 minute walk to the nearest Starbucks. Surely these days, given the difficulty and expense of getting internet access for a tourist in Japan, it is up to the hotels to supply something. It was quite cheap for Japan, booked through Agoda. (About US$110 a night) Standard Japanese breakfast included in the price. Location a bit of a trek. From Sakae subway station, walk down alongside the park and then turn left where the footbridge connects the two halves of the park. It is then a 10 minute walk. Quite a long way if you have suitcases and kids. We took a taxi from Nagoya station when we arrived, but the taxi driver had never heard of the hotel despite us showing him the location on a map and giving him the address written in Japanese. Took him a while to find it. Generally nice enough hotel but desperately needs to join...
