Noda — Restaurant in Nagoya

This is a gem only the locals know about. We only found out about it because we stayed in the Airbnb upstairs. This area is not frequented by tourists and is kind of off the beaten track. The service is very friendly and the quality of the food was very good value for the price. The prices here may look a little more expensive than the regular Japanese casual eating places but teppanyaki is considered as something of a luxury in Japan and they are usually a lot more expensive than in the West. The 5-star teppanyaki places were above our reach so this place allowed us to have a taste of authentic japanese teppanyaki during our trip without a hefty price tag.
