Omar is one of the best traditional Mexican chefs in Nagoya. Native born Mexican from Guadalajara, Jalisco! During the Nagoya Latino festivals, he consistently draws the longest lines thanks to his exceptional tacos, variety of delicious toppings, and warm, welcoming service! ... I lived in Nagoya for a few years when I worked for Mitsubishi and had a wonderful opportunity of meeting Chef Omar at the Nagoya Latino festival. I regularly followed where he would put up his stand and try to stop by. Im also orginally from the outskitts of Guadalajara, Jalisco, and my deep-rooted passion for traditional tacos has equipped me with a discerning palate. I have dedicated myself to exploring tacos from all around the world, providing feedback and upholding quality standards wherever I go. Chef Omar's exceptional mastery of his craft speaks for itself, requiring no feedback to validate his expertise.

By far, this is the best Mexican food I’ve had in Japan, and I’ve tried a lot of places all over Japan. The menu could benefit from a few more options and additional seating would be appreciated, but the quality of the food more than makes up for the wait. The staff are friendly, respectful, and provide attentive service without being overbearing. The atmosphere is lively, with background music that complements the setting nicely. The Chicken Quesadilla was outstanding, elevated further by their unique house sauce, and the Beef Burrito was equally impressive. Every bite felt authentic and satisfying. I would absolutely recommend this place to friends, it’s worth every bite. I enjoyed it so much that after my first visit, I made the trip all the way from Tokyo just to experience it again.

This place claps! I waited 40 minutes for a counter seat on a Sunday afternoon but it was worth the wait! I lived in Texas before moving to Japan and man was the food super authentic! It was nice to have guacamole again and have it made from raw avocado. The nachos and the burrito was fire too. I bet the el pastor and burria clap real hard too. I hope to see Sayulita at food truck events and I hope they expand to give us in Nagoya more yummy glorious Mexican food! I loved the stout craft Mexican cerveza they had too! I wanna come back soon.

I went to this restaurant three days ago. The lady at the cashier was RUDE! I have been living in Japan for few years and this was the first time I dealt with rude waitress. I ordered two meals and chips and guacamole. They provided green salsa and red sauce for free at the drink corner. My son wanted to try the salsa and red sauce (not knowing if it is spicy or not) so I asked her nicely for a small bowl for the salsa but she refused. So I used mini paper cup provided for water to put the salsa in, so my son and I can dip the chips. She came to me and told me that the paper cup is for water, not for salsa. I already asked for a small bowl or plate for salsa at first, but she refused. I don’t mind to pay extra for two mini paper cups if she wanted me to pay. Never seen other restaurants where waitress refused to give a small bowl or plates, especially if you bring kids, but this place. She even complained about me behind my back to one of the chefs who didn’t seem to care about the paper cups. The food was good but the customer service...
