Our experience dining here was nothing short of spectacular. It was our first time being at a maid cafe; the maids understood that and made a good effort to explain everything to us. They even had a tutorial course dedicated to beginners like us. My friend couldn't speak Japanese and they were very accommodating to both of us, often trying hard to convey what they wanted to say. The service I have nothing to complain about and it even exceeded my expectations.
Food wise, we each ordered an omurice, I got the demi-glaze sauce and my friend had the white sauce (I still honestly don't know what that sauce is supposed to be), both were surprisingly decent and really mixed well with the tomato sauce and the omurice part of the meal which is the main. Our maid spent quite a bit of time carefully drawing on our omurice which ended up quite beautifully. We also chanted the magic spell together to make the food more delicious which was a very unique experience.
Lastly, me and my friend requested a dance performance from the maids and we enjoyed it much more than we expected.
Kudos to Tamami, Shuna, and Pomemochi for providing us such an amazing experience, we had a...
Read moreThis was the first time I visited a maid cafe and the experience was about as special as I had expected it to be.
The maids weren't the best at English, but their effort in trying to entertain us was good. Although they had to use translation apps for somethings, they did manage to convey a lot without.
The vibe in the restaurant was somewhat quiet, as it was only us and 2 others most of the time we were there, but that just meant the maids had more time to entertain us, and one of them was at our table nonstop.
The food wasn't great, just about what one would expect from an establishment like this, which focuses more on the experience than food. But it was okay and the drawing done on the omurice is part of the experience.
While I personally probably wouldn't go again without a reason (such as introducing someone else to the maid cafe culture), the service was good and I can sort of see why some people would...
Read moreWent here with my girlfriend for what essentially both of our first Maid Cafe experiences. The welcome was warm and earnest, the staff were all very enthusiastic and carried out their roles with great passion. Aoi, Tenten and the other staff all did their best to communicate with us through limited language skills (from both sides) as well as liberal use of our translation apps. The food was served with grand ceremony and both my partner and I had a wonderful time.
Go in with an open mind and embrace the ceremony of this experience and you'll have...
