Awamori!!! One of the best local Izakaya/bars in Naha! The owner and regular customers are great human beings that you'll meet. Honest, upfront, unlike northerners in Japan, Okinawans have a different view of life. Food, drinks, and atmosphere is great. For those English speakers, you may not know how to speak Japanese well or at all. It doesn't mean you can't have a great conversation with others. Google Translate conversation mode is your buddy! Also, when coming here, order Awamori! Strong drink local/exclusive to Okinawa. You will get instant bonus points of you do.

Just few minutes away from our hotel so we it become our convenient choice. Surprisingly food was quite decent and good service from the lady boss. The fried tofu and fried soft bone are both really good. The yaki soba (shio) is our favourite together with the wheat noodle soup.

ハイアットに宿泊して近くにあったこちらのお店を訪問。民謡もやっているようですが行った時はやってなかったです。地元の団体もいていい雰囲気のお店。箸とかも全部綺麗だったので比較的新しいお店なんだと思います。注文した中で揚げジーマーミ豆腐が美味しかった。あと島らっきょうの天ぷらは衣がサクサクで美味しかった👍 行った時はお父さん1人で料理を作っていたので混んでる時は大変そう。口コミでも料理の提供時間のことがあったけどランチもやって夜もやって凄いなって思う。混んでる時は是非優しい心をw 最後遅くなってごめんねーってキッチンから出てきて言ってくれたし応援したくなるお店。料理も美味しくて良かったお母さんも気さくに話しかけてくれる感じでgood。話聞いたら自分たち家族以外は常連さんだったみたい😄
