国際通りから少し歩いた壺屋にある隠れ家的イタリアン、Bella Isola(ベッラ・イゾラ)は、南イタリアの雰囲気に包まれたこぢんまりとした素敵なレストランです。
岡山出身のシェフがイタリアのアマルフィで修行された後、新天地の沖縄で地元の新鮮な食材を使った南イタリア料理を提供されています。その評判を聞き、期待を胸に初訪問しました。
今回の料理の順番は以下の通りでした:
プロセッコを楽しみながらのアンティパストの盛り合わせ リコッタチーズがのったスパゲッティ・アマトリチャーナ 当店のシグニチャーメニューで、シェフの修業先の名物料理であるマグロとピスタチオのレアステーキ
特に印象的だったのは、マグロとピスタチオのレアステーキです。オレンジソースとミント、赤玉ねぎのマリネとの相性が抜群で、南イタリアと沖縄の味の融合を見事に表現していました。
店内の雰囲気も心地よく、スタッフの対応も丁寧で、居心地の良い時間を過ごすことができました。
次回那覇を訪れる際には、必ずまた足を運びたいお店が見つかりました。沖縄の食材を使った本格的な南イタリア料理を楽しみたい方に、心からおすすめできるレストランです。
Bella Isola is a hidden gem located in Tsuboya, just a short walk from Kokusai Street. This cozy Italian restaurant offers a wonderful southern Italian ambiance.
The chef, originally from Okayama, trained in Amalfi, Italy, and now brings southern Italian cuisine to Okinawa, using fresh local ingredients. After hearing great things about this place, I decided to visit for the first time with high expectations.
Here’s the order of dishes I enjoyed:
A delightful antipasto platter, paired with Prosecco Spaghetti Amatriciana topped with ricotta cheese The signature dish of the restaurant: rare tuna steak with pistachio, a specialty from the chef’s time in Amalfi
The rare tuna steak with pistachio was particularly impressive. Paired with orange sauce, mint, and marinated red onions, it beautifully captured the fusion of southern Italian and Okinawan flavors.
The atmosphere inside the restaurant was comfortable, and the staff were attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable.

Read moreI had a lovely dinner with my 2 children at Bella ISOLA on 4 Jun. We had vongole pasta, uni pasta with lemon, Okinawa pork with prune and pistachio, and chocolate cake, all of which were fantastic. Wines by the glass were the best I’ve had in Okinawa.
I rate the experience as 4 out of 5 stars as I was unfortunately charged twice for my meal. Chef, would you be able to kindly refund the JPY 11,110 to my account please? I have also emailed the restaurant directly on this duplicate charge.
