I went to this Starbucks a few times when I was stationed on Camp Kinser and remember it fondly. I’ve recently come back to Okinawa to visit and this location did not disappoint. Me and my husband came in a little after 7 and ordered the seasonal Yaki-imo caramel Frappuccino. Even if you don’t speak Japanese it’s easy to point at an item on the menu and communicate what size you want. The baristas were excited because we were excited to try the new flavor and told me it tasted like some kind of candy but I forgot which one. Anyway, baristas were warm and friendly and the seasonal drink hit the spot.

Possibly one of the busiest Starbucks in Okinawa. The staff manage the steady stream of customers with reasonable efficiency, though they don’t exactly go out of their way to be friendly. Drinks are prepared consistently well despite the crowd, but if you’re hoping for a warm welcome or a quiet spot to relax, you might want to look elsewhere.

1/2024 Actually a lot more spacious than it seems from the outside! Should have brought my phone charger since I got a seat that had plugs (?). Fun to watch all the people walking up and down Kokusai-Dori. AC was chilly (January, lol).

Friendly staff. This Soy milk card needs to be copied by other Starbucks around the globe!! Make sure to check out the Okinawa special tumblers/mugs/gift card. A min of ¥1000 is required to be added to the gift card.

Ordered an iced drink but is forced to scoop out the ice and drink like this because I can't use a straw after dental surgery, and the staff won't transfer the drink into another cup or give me a different lid.

I really liked this Starbucks their large coffee is enormous, they have outlets where you can charge you phone information centre next door..they open at 8am super friendly excellent service...
