Sueyoshi-tei — Restaurant in Naha

Went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed it immensely. Was not sure it was open due to the parking lot seeming empty, but after going in they had walking customers. (Possibly from the hospital just down the road.). I had the beef cooked in wine from the lunch menu. I really liked it. The salad was also good. It had a few pickled Goya(never had before) and it was amazing. The lunch menu came with clam chowder which reminded me of Ivar's in Seattle. Also very good. There is a upstairs and downstairs to the building. Upstairs has a old Europe feel to it. I really liked the suit of armor ! Also they use an old school cash register. Un lieu à la décoration surprenante, basée principalement sur les bonnes bouteilles de vins. J'ai beaucoup apprécié cette décoration, la musique de fond légèrement jazz, l'accueil souriant et extrêmement sympathique. Les adolescents se sont régalés avec leur pizza à la pâte fine et croustillante, les spaghettis aux crevettes et les rouleaux de printemps étaient également excellents. Et une glace au fromage bleu en dessert, pas courant chez nous, et pourtant une belle découverte. Merci...
