Came here with my parents on a quiet day after finding this restaurant through google. The food did not disappoint, the portion of the sushi and sashimi was big and definitely worth sharing. The fish was fresh and unique. Also ordered the salmon ochazuke which was my first time having it and I don’t know how it can get better than this. As I’m typing this, we are waiting for our tempura set and I honestly cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If you want to eat well in a cozy environment, I highly recommend this restaurant. (also their kimchi is so good I wish I got more :” ) Edit: Just got the tempura!! Get the tempura!!!

I came early on a Saturday evening and was the only (first?) one here. Wonderful little retro Japanese place - incredible quaint charm. The oji-san chef is welcoming and tried his best to communicate though he speaks no English and I no Japanese. You'd need Google translate for the menu. It's cash only. Food is such good quality and good value. I had a set (sashimi was so fresh and braised veggies so soft and flavour-packed) and a side of fried oysters that were crispy on the outside and still fresh and tender on the inside. Loved it!

The oji-san chef is welcoming and tried his best to communicate though he speaks no English and I no Japanese. You'd need Google translate for the menu. It's cash only. Food is such good quality and good value.
