The previous reviews are correct. I’ve been genuinely thinking hard about this; and I honestly don’t think I’ve ever had a better Italian meal outside of Italy. The chef has done masterfully - the gnocchi and risotto rice cooked to absolute perfection - fluffy cloud gnocchi with creamy centres, risotto rice perfectly al dente. My wife enjoyed a superb lasagne also. The food is beyond reproach, I think - hats off to the chef. I had to shake his hand after the meal, I was so impressed. Where to improve? Well, whilst the food was perfect, it’s a pity it couldn’t all come out at the same time. The three dept dishes we ordered all came out one after the other so my daughter had already finished her gnocchi by the time my wife’s lasagne came out, and she was halfway through that before my risotto made an appearance. That’s a pity, but with the food itself being so perfect, you can maybe understand why the chef is taking his time over each dish. The only other criticism I have to offer is the house wine: it’s just… bad. Sharp and flat. Avoid it. We had excellent Camparis at the beginning of the meal and should’ve stuck to that. All in all this restaurant is an absolute gem. As another review mentioned, if you’re visiting Okinawa, your first thought probably won’t be on trying to find authentic Italian cuisine - but frankly, it should be! Read moreWhat a great experience my first night in Naha. Chef Pietro was very friendly and I had the pleasure of being the only customer. I had been to Italy and Pietro speaks fluent English so we enjoyed a great conversation. The food was incredible. I had the antipasto platter and the special of the night, which was a squid ink pasta with a sea urchin cream sauce. Don’t think I’ve had a better pasta dish in my life. Perfect blend of savory, salty, and sweet. Highly recommend.
I liked it so much I came back my last night in Naha for another round. Chef Pietro made another delicious entree - pasta with red sauce flavored with bacon. I was so hungry I started to eat it as soon he set it down and forgot about taking a picture until I was several bites into the dish. Another fantastic experience.

During an extended work trip we stumbled upon this place and decides to give it a go. After the 12th night straight eating their I can safely say that this place has the best authentic Italian dishes. I was in Naples for 3 years and the owners versions of my favorite Italian dishes we either spot on or, in most cases, even better.
The food is reasonably priced and all of his ingredients are sourced locally.or has specialty items shipped in.
He has a great wine selection and spirits selection.
