Babyface Sky Terrace — Restaurant in Nara

5th September 2025 First time dining at a "high-class" restaurant. My friends brought me as they know I would like it. They were right, the atmosphere was great, wasn't too packed as it was a Friday afternoon. The service was great although the drink bars were self-serviced. The food, honestly were a little underwhelming for the price. Not at all bad, but I was expecting more flavour for the 2000+ yen.

Overall, please do try it out and let us know what you think ! I wouldn't come here by myself...

It’s a cool 😎 place. My 5th visit. Surprised that it’s a chain restaurant business. The staff is very nice. the food is fresh, the price is fair and the size of the portions are healthy. I see some strange bad reviews but I didn’t have this experience at all. Maybe those customers are grouchy or need the typical boring set menu? They play cool music (it’s not loud) and the atmosphere is great. Baby is a nice addition to to Nara-shi area. 👍 Valentines dinner...

Diverse selection of plates from asian options to ocidental plates. A good selection of noodles and some Italian pasta. The Omurice plates are like a soft omelette with seasoned rice inside and delicious sauces around (I highly recommend). The meat plate was not exceptional. The ambiance is spacious and comfortable. Good to visit with groups but may be good to reserve in advance. We've got a table easily but had a timed stay to give way to a later...
