Mahoroba Daibutsu Pudding (Yumekaze Square) — Restaurant in Nara

We got the bigger pudding pot. It was 1100 yen. The lady at the store was very friendly and patient with us and when we couldn’t finish it, she packed it up nicely with an ice pack to keep it fresh.

The pudding itself was beautifully packaged. It was in a nice little jar and then on a cute tray. The pudding was nice and smooth, super soft and not too sweet. At the bottom of the jar, there was a syrup which kinda tasted like crème brûlée (it had the caramelised taste). There was a good ratio between the pudding and the syrup so the flavours complemented each other well.

I would come back here but probably would prefer to try the smaller pots and different flavours! I’d also like to try the...

Best pudding ice-cream ever. We've picnicking at the side of a souvenir shop and we saw many locals enjoying the ice-cream, out of curiosity we went into the souvenirs shop and found that it is an ice cream counter at the side of the shop. It's not English words so we were just guessing the content of the ice-cream and ask the shoppers.
