Having visited Japan a couple of times. I have never come across a food establishment whereby I wouldn’t visit again, until now… Flying out of Japan and hoping to have one more memorable meal, turned out to be the worst meal I’ve ever had. I mean it was memorable, just for the wrong reasons.

Ordered a roast beef bowl and a matcha latte.

The roast beef bowl - the rice was served lukewarm, beef was overcooked and cold and the egg was pretty much straight out of the fridge..

The matcha latte - it’s called a match latte but served as a dirty matcha (there’s a shot of espresso) which is fine. My partner who speaks fluent Japanese (she is Japanese) asked if there was sugar in the drink, she was told that there isn’t.. somehow when it arrived, it was loaded with sugar when I took my first sip.. What you see in the picture is what is left of the drink, it went straight to the bin.

I get it, this place is not a fancy restaurant.. and neither do I think that I am expecting too much. I’ve been to plenty of food establishments across Japan and have never come across one that served food cold to its customer.

Maybe their other dishes are better.. I...

I've been a frequent diner here during my various flights and consistently appreciate the affordable meal options within the airport. Given its self-service nature, I don't have much to say about customer service.

However, I do have a couple of suggestions that I believe would significantly improve the dining experience. First, I strongly recommend that airport companies and employment agencies stop using this restaurant for job interviews and other similar activities. Seeing interviewers and applicants who aren't associated with the establishment is quite distracting and really detracts from the restaurant's overall ambiance.

Second, I've noticed an issue with large passenger baggage obstructing the pathways. It would greatly enhance the comfort and flow for all diners if the restaurant implemented a policy to manage or prohibit oversized luggage in the...

Fast, friendly service, despite the big clientele, they try to be pleasant and helpful. I had to get rid of my coins, also my IC card, so I used a combination plus cash and the guy at the cashier was kind enough to indulge me. Hub was happy with his spaghetti, it was really good. My hamburg steak was tasty and juicy, but the chicken was a bit tough for me. The cake was good too. Overall a nice last meal in Japan, even if it was in the airport. I will not hesitate to dine here again, we did not not wait too long in line too as it is a big place....
