Ramenteiitcho Kurosakiten — Restaurant in Niigata

With many of the restaurants in the area closing and an empty stomach, I decided to have a late lunch here. The restaurant was clean and quite spacious.

There isn't an English menu, so Google Translate will come in handy. After looking through the extensive menu, I decided to order the vegetable miso ramen with chashu and half a dozen gyozas to share.

I was not prepared for the bowl of ramen that was served to me. The portion size was huge. On top of the already large amount of noodles was piled a good heap of vegetables, with generous slabs of chashu layered on top. The noodles were thick and chewy, the vegetables provided a nice, refreshing crunch, and the chashu was flavourful but a bit tough. I found the miso broth itself, however, to be quite lacking. It wasn't too heavy and oily, which I liked, but it was just lacking depth in flavour. It kind of just tastes like plain miso soup.

The gyozas, on the other hand, were pretty good. Nice and crispy on the outside, with a juicy filling on the inside.

Unfortunately, I was unable to finish the bowl of ramen, but I thought it was okay for the price. If you are a big eater, this place would be right up your alley. It could've also been that I ordered the wrong menu item, but I've had better miso ramen. A decent place for a...

日曜日の１７時前に息子と訪問。まず、入口の扉が重すぎる。女性は開けられないのではないだろうか。中に入るとお客さんは一組だけ。お好きなところにどうぞ〜と言われ、窓際に座る。空いてていいなと思いつつ、煮干し醤油らーめんを中盛りで注文。日曜日なのにセットが頼めるのか！と嬉しく思いながらＢセットを一緒に注文した。 先にラーメンがつき、スープを一口。煮干しがしっかり効いたスープだ。ただ、涼しかったからか、もう少し熱いと、嬉しかった。見た目は良く、味も悪くないため、こんなものかと食べ進める。と、チャーシュー丼と餃子が到着。早速、餃子を一口。焼き立てどころか、かなり温い。皮に張りもない。３個だけだからか、温め直したが温め足りなかったような感じ。実際はどうか分からないが。チャーシュー丼はどうかと、食べる。ご飯もアツアツとは到底言えない。チャーシュー自体は美味しいため、残念。 息子は味噌ラーメンを注文し、熱い熱いと満足そうに完食。私も味噌にしていればよかったと後悔。 また、店員さんが声に張りがなく、ラーメン屋さん特有だと思っている、あの元気になれる雰囲気がない。お客さんが少ないからか、店員同士で小声で話しをしていて、あまりいい気分ではなかった。 会計では、楽天Payが使えず、困った。テーブルでチャージしていたので、各テーブルにも使える支払い方法が書いてあるとよかったと思う。 ８号を通る度に気になっていて、やっと来れたことで期待値が上がりすぎていたのか。訪問時間が悪かったのか。味噌も食べてみたいが、次...

新人研修しっかりしてください。

アルバイトの女の子の態度がありえないです。 仕事中にもかかわらず、客の目の前で食事をしている様子がよく見受けられます。 ある日は、お店に入ろうとした時に食事をしている姿が見え、慌てた様子で水を流し込む姿。 ある日は、注文のために呼んだがすぐ来ず、咀嚼しながら歩いてくる姿。ありえないです。 ご時世もあるので、店の中でマスクをしない時間が多くあるのも不満です。 そもそも仕事中に客の前で食事なんて聞いた事ありません。 さらには隠す様子もなく、店の真ん中でスマートフォンをいじっている。 接客も早口で何を言っているのか分かりません。 その割に、私語は客席まで届くほど大きく、大笑いしている始末。 名札を見ると研修中とのことでしたが、研修中だから仕方ないと言えるレベルではありません。 社員の方やアルバイトの先輩方は何をしているんでしょうか。仕事内容だけでなく、人としての在り方も伝授した方がいいと思います。
