I had the most magical and heartwarming experience at this charming little restaurant in Nikko. The food was absolutely delicious, but what truly made this visit unforgettable was the incredible hospitality of the server. He was so kind and went out of his way to share Japanese culture and traditions with us, even offering a little book in English to explain them.
After our meal, he gave us small candies and asked us to write a few kind words in his notebook, which we happily did. When I commented on how smooth and wonderful the pen was that I used to write, he surprised me by gifting me the pen along with an extra ink refill! Such an act of generosity and thoughtfulness completely warmed my heart.
This place isnât just about amazing foodâitâs about the genuine care and kindness of the people who run it. If youâre ever in Nikko, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Itâs more than just a meal; itâs an experience that...

We all enjoyed our meals and we especially appreciated the managers friendliness and hospitality. Thank you for our...

The service is exceptionally friendly for Japan. Usually the waiters will leave you alone, but the nice gentleman here, saw we are foreigners and came with "Must see" Guide books, gave us advice what to see, joked with us, was very attentive and often came to check on us. He gave us free sweets, and also gave us literally a vase full of homemade cold tea, to go with our spicy food. At the end served us hot green tea.
The restaurant interior is not fancy, but is lovely with its own charm, and carries the spirit of the staff that happily serve their guests.
