Couldn't have asked for a better location! The sacred bridge is almost right across the street and it leads right to the hill with the shrine/temple area--less than a block from the hotel! (Of course, once you enter the complex, there is still a lot of uphill walking to reach the main shrines and buildings but you'll be so enthralled with the beauty of the forest and your surroundings, you won't mind the hike. I just have to say that the toilet has no water washing system which is very common in Japan. They have also common bath rooms for man and woman. Staff was so polite and friendly. But my wife needed to visit the rest room and we asked any available rest room in hotel. Why did they said like that I still have no idea. Because in hotel every floor has their own toilet. Overall I can recommend this place....
