im probably being a bit harsh on my rating of their service... however... its not nice being told off and not to enter as i needed to sign up on the sheet first (there's a sign up sheet. write ur name down, with how many ppl)

i make it sound bad, and it wasnt.. and i completely understand that i needed to write my name down. but just inform of customers kindly that theres a sign up sheet. no need to yell.

i def felt like they are tired of foreigners HOWEVER they were still happy to receive foreigners and serve us food.

when seated, service was fine. minimal chat. you get the menu. point at what u want. and then 10mins later ur food comes. no dramas.

food. delicious. the yakisoba. delicious. i recommend the tantan yakisoba. so good.

and you definitely need to get their fried yuba! soooo good! i would def come back for more of these! and their noodles...

This meal was the second best on my 9 day trip to Japan. The only better meal cost 11Xs what I paid for this amazing yakisoba with a small pork steak and the expensive meal was like 6 courses. The pork cut was on the same level as the wagyu beef I had at the extremely expensive meal in Fukuoka.

Amazing fried.noodles of 2 kinds. We had the TanTan with awesome seasme taste - up the spice if you can handle. The boiled egg was perfect with that fatty but smoth char siew. We also had the squid noodles - cooked perfectly and the just nice sunny side up. Heavenly. You have to try it if you are on Nikko main street! Trying the chicken...
