Shokudō Suzuki — Restaurant in Nikko

We (2 adults and a 2-year-old) had a bad experience here without even getting in the door! Starving after a long day, the lights were on and the place was open, but we got the big cross-armed 'X' from the grumpy looking guy sitting inside as we approached the door. We had been rejected entry at Trattoria Gigli down the road five minutes earlier because they could apparently only do tables for two.
