One of the best dining experiences I have had in Japan! The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. Tried the local delicacy - horse mackerel which was incredible. The locally caught sashimi was some of the best I have eaten. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant is super clean with a lovely atmosphere. Using the QR code to order was great as there is an English option. Highly recommended and thank you to the lovely ladies who looked after us 🙏❤️ Note for foreigners: once you have finished your meal, take your dishes up to the kitchen and place them on the rack (follow what the locals are doing).

開店直後に行き番号札をとってから 3時間待ちました。 呼ばれそうになってから店に戻ったら 既に目当ての海鮮丼は品切れでした。 他にも何品か人気のは品切れしてました。 悔しいので濱盛りの激盛りとグジもまだ あったので注文しました。 締めにはお茶漬けにできるので 残さずペロリと完食できました。 美味しかったです。

Hama no Shiki is a lovely seaside cafe in Obama City, serving up a wide teishoku set menu of seasonal, local fresh food. Come for the amazing Japanese seafood sets at reasonable prices and enjoy gazing at the beauty of the Obama Bay. If you've never had Obama salt-preserved mackerel (heshiko), this is one place to try it!
