During my trip to Nagano, I discovered a cafe with a great atmosphere while searching for one nearby. The place is filled with plants and has a bright, airy interior that feels warm and welcoming.

For dessert, I ordered both cheesecake and French toast. The French toast was crispy on the outside and soft and moist inside – truly the perfect rendition of French toast. The scoop of ice cream on top also complemented it perfectly. The cheesecake was a Basque-style cheesecake (it even seemed like it might have pumpkin inside), and the ice cream, cream cheese, and apple jam on top all went together wonderfully.

The desserts were so delicious that even though I already had lunch, I was curious about the other menu and decided to order the cream pasta. The cream pasta included mentaiko and exceeded my expectations. The slightly salty, rich cream sauce was a perfect match with it. The accompanying salad and signature black bread were delicious too, and it was really wonderful to experience authentic Japanese-style pasta.
