When you walk in and see a place full of locals, you know you’re at a good spot. Like all soba houses they have a variety of Okinawa Soba dishes on the menu but I always like to try the “house” soba.
The “Daruma Soba” is Item #1 on their menu. It’s like a “pork variety” style where they throw in one piece each of 4-5 different parts of the pork.
The thing I like most is that their broth was not overly salty; it was very balanced but still very tasty. Noodles were solid; fantastic. This is just one of those local soba houses you can’t go wrong with, it definitely seems like the local go-to for that little area of Okinawa City.

Read moreThere are several parking spots, on restaurant property in front of the entrance. You order by item number at the kiosk, when you enter the restaurant. The kiosk only accepts cash. After you order and pay, the machine will give you a ticket. You give the ticket to the staff, and have a seat at one of fifteen tables. The food will arrive quickly. There is complimentary cold water and tea, that you can serve yourself. Everything we ordered we tasty, hot and quick. The portion are fair, not huge or small. Many diners come and go Happy and fed.
