Gotta say, this place Souhachiya in Awase is my new favorite ramen/chahan place. We walked there tonight and they didn’t disappoint. Kind of a thicker broth like Ozakura, with thicker homemade noodles. My wife got the bean sprout garlic one and it was good. I got the chasiu fried rice and it reminded of this place I used to get fried rice at on Gate2 street as a kid, it was my favorite back then. Their chasiu is the star of the show though. Not your normal Japanese style, this one had a bit of a Chinese flavor and was amazing.

Regarding the ramen. Lots of meat and toppings 👍. But the noodles were overcooked and the broth was not very appetizing 👎.
