Fuku Sushi — Restaurant in Onna

This restaurant does not stand out in its building appearance. But once you step in, you will find they are professional in terms of amenities and the way they receive customers.

Very high quality sea food, both raw sashimi, sushi, fish stew, and fried fish. There are witness writes/signatures on the wall to demonstrate how customers appreciated and how they were cited in cooking contest. This is a family run restaurant nearby seashore.

Service and atmosphere are good in general. The cooked foods are delicious and flavorful. However, the sushi/raw seafoods are not.

IMO The sushi is not good due to the quality of the ingredients. Many comments mentioned the “fishy” smell or taste, my personally feeling is the same. This “fishy” taste, especially in the giant clam sashimi, reminds me the similar (disappointed) taste from the ones live in the fish tank for a while.

I have came this restaurant for dinner twice while staying near the hotel with my wife. We ordered the chample with plain noodle, a premium hand-shaped sushi and set meal came with sashimi at their English menu easily. The sushi was absolutely fresh and delicious I have ever eaten in Japan. Each price ordered my items was properly cheap but the taste was good .
