The best thing is the dark wood and warmly lit interior, it makes for a very cosy atmosphere. I visited in off season so there was no need for reservations. Staff were efficient but not particularly warm or pleasant; I get the impression they get a lot of customers and so maybe don't work so hard on their friendliness like other Japanese proprietors.
