It's hard to consistently create meals that are healthy, beautiful to look at, and delicious, but ンケリコ has managed to score high in all three categories. Not only that, the restaurant itself is candy for the eyes and everywhere you look your eyes will feast upon handcrafted art and artistic architecture--truly a pleasure for the senses. The service is friendly and top notch and you can feel the care that went into creating and serving each meal. The prices are very reasonable and I feel confident that you and your stomach will be happy and satisfied that you went to ンケリコ, and that you'll be looking forward to your next meal there. If you're looking to rub elbows with the locals in a cozy and convivial spot, or just looking to wind down for a coffee or a meal after all that crazy shopping in Umeda, it's worth the (one stop) train ride or short walk over. The owners have poured their heart into this establishment, and it shows through the decor (mostly inspired by their extensive travels in Latin America) and most definitely the homemade food and baked goods. Akira and Hitomi are beautiful people. The cafe has a very homey personal touch to it, all of the artwork was done by a good friend of theirs.
