Food was good, can’t complain but the service wasn’t impressive we were the only customers they had and they still forgot my wine with the main meal and then still charged me for it. The language barrier made it impossible to explain. We also got stung with a 1000 yen bottle of water without being told and the chef picked the most expensive meal for me and charged me for it without consulting me. We had an amazing dinner here while on vacation. This is a small restaurant, but the staff make you feel like you're a guest at their home. Everyone was super friendly and went out of their way to help us with our nonexistent Japanese skills. The chef speaks french, and I believe studied in France. The food was absolutely amazing. Food was decent and well executed but not innovative and rather traditional. The ventilation in the kitchen isn’t that great so when dishes are prepared the smoke and smell escapes into the dinning hall and onto our clothes and coat. Service was great tho. Just be prepared to smell a little...
