Junfukuya — Hotel in Osaka

Booked a stay through AirBnb for 6 people. Surprised is an understatement when we walked into the room to an unpleasant and strong odor. We were all tired and exhausted so decided to truck on through despite the obvious red flag.

We then spent the next 30 minutes lightly inspecting the accommodation to find various health-concerning issues. Black-mold was sprinkled throughout the entire area, couches and walls were stained, fridge was in abysmal condition, and the aircon units were spewing dust. Not to mention an exposed wire on the floor that poses a fire hazard. We were shocked, disappointed, and frankly worried for our health.

We arrived into the place and it had a rancid pungent smell to it. When we came in and checked the rooms out, it seemed to be uncleaned. We asked to drop our luggages off early and I had an early glance of the room. When we came back in for the regular check in, it was the same look.. The refrigerator was not cleaned out, hair on the floors along with stains on the walls and floors. Mold was on the wall in the bathroom and everything was so unsanitary.
