This place has no signboard, you sit and queue on the chairs opposite of the road. Seating is pretty spacious between customers unlike normal joints. Had the macro ramen w/o egg. Soup is nice and quite delicious, menma has a strong after taste, noodles is pretty bouncy and a nice bite, pretty good combo. But the main selling point here i guess is the pork, from what i saw they stew the whole chunk first then steam it and only use the whole chunks that didnt break off. The small pieces are used in their buta man ¥250. They cut the pork into 3 big pieces and each bowl of ramen gets 1 piece. The pork is pretty soft and nicely stewed/marinated and can be easily split by using the chopsticks. As part of their service they offer customers a paper napkin to wear and prevent the soup from splashing onto your clothes. Their gyoza is the usual type. Waiting time during offpeak hours eg 5pm, maybe 10-15 mins outside and another 15mins after they take your order, as they can only cook 4 portions of noodles at a time. Do not be alarmed if later customers get their...

The Chashu is beautifully cooked with tender meat and melted fat. It can be a bit overwhelming if you are a small eater but it was great for me and it’s good value to upgrade the pork. First picture shows the special upgraded chashu, second picture shows the regular chashu with no extra charge, looks like around 1/4 of the portion.
Compared to chashu, the broth and noodle is lack of wow factor a d that’s why I cannot give 5 star. But in general this place worth the wait.
The environment and atmosphere is nice. I like to deco and background music. Staff is friendly and it’s easy to order via qr code. Be aware to prepare cash...

Pork melts in your mouth and holds enough meaty flavour on its own to stand out above the harsh umami sea it sits in. Bamboo shoots and onion slices bring a sweetness to round out part of the salty edge. Tamago ajitsuke (flavoured soft-boiled egg, late addition not in the main bowl) completes this experience.
Admittedly my first bowl of shoyu ramen and the bar is set this high.
Highly...
