Tried KFC in Japan for the first time and it was definitely not what I expected.
I used the kiosk to order in English and also to be able to take my time and not rush as I dont know the menu like in the US. That was an easy part of the process. The workers were very friendly and typical Japanese over friendly.
Now the food, we ordered a 10 pc bucket and a spicy chicken sandwich and some sodas and fries and chicken finger. We mistakenly got the original bucket instead of the crispy....I didnt see an option for crispy also we got a bunch of white meat. I dont like white meat chicken. 😕 The flavors were nice, except It was overly oily and salty, definitely not what I was expecting in Japan. We ended up wasting 2 piece of uneaten white...

This location is right across the Ashiharabashi station which is a very convenient location. The staff didn't speak very much English and couldn't answer my questions about the menu but was able to understand my order. They were very thoughtful in the way that they packed my food and drink in a bag to go. I ordered boneless fried chicken and am not sure if I should have gotten sauce or was I supposed to ask for it. The chicken meal I got came with one piece of original recipe and 2 small tempura like fried chicken pieces, wedges, an apple pie turnover and a small drink.
Overall, the food was good but I've had better at the last KFC I ate...
