Menya New Classic — Restaurant in Osaka

Tucked away near Nakatsu Station in Osaka’s Kita Ward, this place is a hidden gem worth the short detour. The ramen I had was incredible — a rich, full-bodied chicken broth that somehow still felt delicate on the palette. Perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious.

The atmosphere is casual but modern, and the attention to detail really comes through in the flavour. Not overly touristy, which made the experience feel even more special.

After four bowls, this is our new favorite ramen. Both the chintan and paitan broths are delicious. It was awesome to find chicken paitan instead of the tonkotsu that is trending in America.

Condiments were impressive. Togarashi spiced up my shoyu ramen. I added yuzu vinegar to my shio ramen for a "pop" of acid.

Nos encantó a mi esposa y a mi. Desde que llegamos fueron muy amables de decirnos desde cómo pedir hasta responder nuestras preguntas. El ambiente muy tranquilo y espacioso, excelente para cenar antes de regresar al hotel o a casa. Ahora hablando de comida, el ramen especial de pollo está buenísimo, los ingredientes balanceados y bien integrados. Totalmente recomiendo que debe ser una lugar a venir estando en Osaka! :)

Regresamos por 2do día consecutivo y no nos arrepentimos de nada. Desde antes de entrar nos atendieron muy amablemente y preguntamos si se podía cambiar el puerco por pollo porque no estoy acostumbrado a comer puerco, y muy amables me permitieron cambiarlo. El ramen de sardinas está exquisito e indudablemente algo que tienes que probar si vienes a Osaka. Gracias Menya por hacernos muy agradable las noches antes de regresar...
