La Terrace Creole — Restaurant in Ota

Go, go, go! This is the best meal in Ota and the friendliest people! My friend and I went on a Friday night around 6:30. Easy parking. We each ordered the beef set: soup, entree, bread, salad, dessert, and tea. To our delight, the chef came to the table and told us about the meal we were about to eat. All the fruit and herbs were from the property, cut fresh. We had a pleasant evening and our waitress took good care of us. After we paid for our meals, the chef struck up a conversation - he in broken English and we in broken Japanese - and before we knew it, he was showing us around the yard, pointing out the fruit and herbs. He even gave us cuttings to take home! We also learned that before COVID, they used to have live music (he plays the guitar), but for now the instruments are under dust covers. Maybe it will begin again? Meanwhile, two friends were celebrating a birthday and she was given a decorative slice with candles. There was more to that party, but you can appreciate it for yourself should you choose to celebrate your birthday there. My only critique is that the interior is a little run down, but DO NOT let it detract from the dining experience! Think of it as cozy and quaint. 恒例？の妻との土曜ランチで妻が探しに探したお店に行ってみました。 長くやっているようなお店で、外観も店内もちょっと古めかしいです。 13時頃だったのでお客さんが4組ほどおりましたが、すんなり入店し席につきます。 メニューを見て妻は日替わりランチのポークビール煮を、私はテラスランチを希望したのですが、あいにく無くてお魚のランチにしました。

混んでいる？との事で少々時間がかかると言われ、待つ事30分以上。スープが出て来ましたが、次のサラダまで7〜8分、更にメインディッシュが来るまで10分と待ちくたびれてしまいました。 味は悪くは無いものの美味しいと言わせるレベルにはなく、量的にも不満が残りました。 料理は一つ一つ作っているので時間がかかるのかと思ったのですが、ライスも含め料理に出来立て感はまるでありません。

面白かったのはデザートを選ぶのに現品(写メ参照)が来てそこから選択。ただ、その現品は取らずに選ぶだけ。これも選んでから数分待ちます(笑)因みに味はまずまず。

結婚記念日で利用したのですが、もう二度と行きたくありません。

初めて行くお店でネットの写真を見て美味しそうだと思い楽しみにしていたのですが、とても最悪な時間でした。

店主がマスクを顎にして喋ってきて無精髭が生えており不潔なイメージを持ちました。 スペシャルメニューを注文しましたが料理がこれと言って美味しいものはなく、メインの肉は固くサラダはすっぱく、スープは濃い味でした。最後のケーキも甘すぎで到底美味しいとは思えませんでした。 また、料理に何の毛だか分からないのがメインの料理とケーキに入っており、そしてナフキンにもついていて、食べる気が失せました。 しばらく、気持ちが悪かったです。 席の配列も隣の席の人の顔が見えるように向きを変えているのもよく分かりませんでした。

こういった口コミを書くのは初めてですが、あまりにも酷かったので書かせていただきました。 別のお店にいけば良か...
