Best place to get a quick lunch at if you like sushi/sashimi. I highly recommend upgrading your food too the “extra toppings” so you can get more fish. (Sometimes you’ll want more than a small bowl)
You can also make orders beforehand by call but you need to know Japanese or at least know how to say which number of bowl you wish to have and say “that’ll be all in Japanese” and also say your last name in Japanese so they know who ordered once you go get the food at the shop.
No there is no parking, you’ll have to walk. (Suggest walking from the station to here or parking your car at the seven eleven near by this area and walking down to the shop yourself or with a companion.
Yes you can upgrade your sizes, I believe you can also ask for even more extra than what you can ask for normally.
No there is no place to actually sit and eat in, you have to take it back to your home or your car to eat it. (During the summers they will give you ice packs to cool your food)
They have posted notes you can take with photos on them that have very beautiful photos.
They will give you two soy sauce packets per bowl. (They do in rare occasions forget to give soy sauce so it is best to get your own soy sauce WARNING: the soy sauce they give is for the use of sashimi and fish so the soy sauce at the supermarket is not the same, you have to look closely to see if that’s a soy sauce for fish or not.)
Wasabi and yellow ginger is within the bowl automatically, you can ask to remove it I believe
They occasionally on rare conditions serve いなり for I think 200¥ per two in a single pack. (Very sweet and yummy by the way)
Be sure to give your respect and appreciation to the elders that work there, it is a kind gesture to say your thanks to them after getting your order.
I don’t recommend this place if your not a big sushi...
Read moreI had a wonderful experience here! I don’t speak Japanese so I was a bit intimidated at first but I pointed to what I wanted on the menu and that was that! The staff was so friendly and kind, they gave me postcards to send back to my family in America. The fish was very fresh and the rice was very tasty. If you live on SHA you should definitely give this...
Read moreExcellent takeaway kaisendon spot. The bowls are filling and extraordinarily cheap for the amount of sashimi you get. Sushimi slices are also thick. You can pay extra for more sashimi, but honestly the regular size is enough for me. The shopkeeper is a very...
