Oriental Cafe SUIREN — Restaurant in Sagamihara

I made a reservation via Facebook Messenger, and I really appreciated how accommodating the staff was. Our conversation was in English, and they responded promptly and clearly, which made the process smooth and easy.

On the day of our visit, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. They handed us the menu as soon as we were seated. However, the selection was quite limited. It seems they prefer to focus on just a few dishes, which is understandable if they want to maintain quality — but it might leave some guests wanting more variety.

The ambiance of Suiren is very chill and relaxing. It’s a cozy space, probably able to accommodate a maximum of 18 people. It’s not a large restaurant, and they mentioned they don’t accept private parties either, which is good to know if you’re planning a group event.

We ordered a set meal, and the food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the fried spring roll — crispy, flavorful, and well-prepared. They also serve coffee, which was a nice touch after the meal.

The parking area is spacious and can accommodate a good number of cars, which is a big plus. However, the location itself is not very accessible. If you’re coming by public transportation, it might be a bit challenging. There are likely buses nearby, but planning ahead is necessary.

なぜこんな所にベトナム料理店！？ こんな綺麗な店あったっけ！？

というくらい駅から遠くて、綺麗で、美味しいベトナム料理。

平日の11:38に来店(11:30open)時点で1番目。 着席できたが、普段は1週間前から予約で埋まってるらしい。 店員さんが「今日はお客さんがどこに行っちゃったんだか」と言っていたのでラッキー。 予約必須の店なんだ。

店構えもだが、店内もとても綺麗。 別荘地の高級レストランみたい。 店内はカウンター席が8席くらい？ 大きなテーブルをアクリル板で区切って10席。

駐車場13台って埋まることあるのか、、、？

オリエンタルセットのレッドカレーのライス大盛りと、連れが鶏肉のフォーのセットを注文。

前菜のサラダも美味しいけど、カニの揚げ春巻きと生春巻きもとても美味しい。 揚げ春巻きはサクサクで揚げたてアツアツ。 前菜も手作り感があって、正直提供は少し待つけど料理に大満足。 前菜だけでもかなり満足な内容。

レッドカレー大盛りは、一口目はココナッツの香りと甘味、酸味が広がるけど後から追いかけてくる辛味が癖になる。 牛肉やナス、パプリカ等具材も豊富でスープカレーのような感じ。 すごく美味い。 大盛りのライスもパラパラのカレーに合うタイ米。 しっかりと大盛り、お腹いっぱい。

鶏肉のフォーも、丼ぶりいっぱいのフォーに味変の甜麺醤と海老辣油も付いてて飽きさせない。

どちらも満腹になる量。 これで1300円はコスパも良い。
