If you've ever been to a Pain Pati before, you know you can expect a great selection of fresh baked goods. If you haven't been, look up one of their locations and pay a visit. Everything I've ever purchased has been delicious and they make a number of limited time items like a giant Hercules beetle pastry and this cute Totoro looking custard pastry. This one particular in Kawashiri is bicycle friendly, and a good stop if your riding nearby. They have free coffee served piping hot too so you can get a splash of caffeine.

However, no need to worry because the breads are served very quickly and staffs work fast! Diversified breads are offered and despite European types, the flavors are adjusted a little bit to fit Asian. Also, a cup of free coffee is also served which is great appreciated. Highly recommended for everyone!

This is a great place for bread. It seems to be popular since it was crowded. If it’s a nice day you can eat outside. They have a wide variety of breads and sandwiches I really liked the soft pretzel. It’s so hard to find soft pretzels here in Japan but this place has them. It had just the right amount of salt and it was crunchy but not too hard. They also have free coffee with any purchase. If you are the area...
