NAMASTE INDIAN RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Saitama

Namaste sits next to our favorite small French restaurant in Kita-Urawa. Last night as we walked in the cool drizzling rain, we decided to stop in for dinner. The menu has a lot of variety...although a couple of our Indian food favorites (Keema Mutter) were missing. Overall, the food was well-prepared but bland...even though we ordered "Medium Spicy". Serving sizes were on the small side and given the quality, not a great value.

Garlic Naan - was tasty and done as we requested, extra crispy. Regular Naan - good but not exceptional. Dahl Curry - probably the best dish we had. Butter Chicken Curry - too sweet. Chicken Malai Tikka - a disappointment as it was overcooked and dry without the normally great taste and juciness this dish shoud have when...

Nice folks with a cozy atmosphere. Their curry is just standard to me. There are many better places but it is still decent and well priced. There garlic naan is unique and I enjoyed it. There butter naan would seem to be special given the price but in truth is just the plain naan at...

１１時頃、テイクアウトで日曜日に来店。 テイクアウトは、 ○ランチメニューのカレーから1つ+チーズナンの８００円セットと ○ランチメニューのカレー1つ+プレーンナンの７００円セットの2種が有りました。 （単品物もテイクアウトありましたが、カレーの類は上記の2種のみ）

チーズナンのセットと、プレーンナンのセットを1つずつ頼んでみました。

カレーの味は美味しかったです。 ナンは、ホットケーキミックスの匂いで結構甘めです。まるでパンケーキの様な味。 これはこれで有りでした。

では、美味しかったのに何故に星が2なのかというと、店内の清潔感なく衛生的にちょっと…と思ったのと、 メニュー表記の金額が「どれが正解？？」となったからです。

衛生的にちょっとと思った事は、箸入れなどが置いてある所に得体の知れない汚れたメモ書きが落ちていたり消毒用かと思われるアルコールが入っている容器に黒ずみの汚れがついていたり…｡

メニュー表記の金額については、 ある箇所に書いてある『プレーンナンとカレーのセット』の金額が「５００円」となっていて、また違う位置に貼ってあるメニューの金額は「６５０円」…。 ６５０円なんやなって思って、いざ会計。

『え？７００円？？？なの？？？』

プレーンナンなのに７００円だったらチーズナンにすれば良かったよ…｡

どなたかのレビューにもありましたが、年配の男性がレジ打ちだったのでチョロまかし的なのが入ったのかな？

とにかく、金額はしっかり統一し...
