Enoteca D'oro — Restaurant in Sapporo

When was the last time you could enjoy a 4 cheese pizza with a robust Barolo? Would you believe Sapporo has such a hidden gem? Puffy crust with a generous amount of Japanese cheese including an intense blue. Their selection of Italian wines would be the envy of most Italian restaurants. We stumbled across it but may be hard to find for a traveller on the 3rd floor of the AXA building. Reasonably priced for the excellent quality received....

The pizza was very tasty, the wine was Italian and very decent. If you want to feel the Italian atmosphere and taste, then come here! At first, I had some misunderstanding with the waiter, when I sat down at a table, he did not want to let me in, referring to the full reservation of tables, although half of the restaurant was empty before closing. I hope the management will resolve this issue...

The napolitan pizzas were very, very decent. We arrived late in the evening, but the oven could have been a bit hotter to crisp the base more. This is my only comment on the otherwise great napolitan style pizza.

The staff worked hard to accommodate our big group with kids.

I think we ordered like 4 rounds of pizza, kudos to the chef!
