北海道神宮の境内にあり参拝客休憩所を兼ねた店舗、老舗和洋菓子店「六花亭神宮茶屋店」は土産スポットとして旅行者に活用されるだけでなく、スイーツスポットとして人気を博しています。

ここの名物は焼き餅菓子「判官さま」(1個100円)。北海道神宮造営の功労者である初代主席開拓判官・島義勇(しま よしたけ)にちなんで作られたもので、神宮茶屋店でしか購入できない店舗限定品です。

そば粉が入った柔らかな焼き餅の中には、ほのかな塩味が利いたつぶ餡がたっぷり。神宮茶屋店ではおみやげ用の販売のほか、店内のホットプレートで焼いたものも注文でき、セルフサービスのほうじ茶(無料) と一緒に味わうことができます。
