There are about 16 different restaurants in here, so I’ll review the three we went to.
First, the steak/truffle place. This place serves a variety of small plates, many of which involve truffles and/or beef. Overall, I thought this place was great, especially if you like beef/steak. Here’s what we got: Truffle fries. Very tasty, very well seasoned. Egg over rice. This was quite strange. The egg whites were very foamy. I didn’t like it that much, but it was pretty unique. Steaks. We got two steak plates. Both were quite rare and very tasty. They came with wasabi and soy. These were my favorite things. Wagyu sando. Pretty affordable for a wagyu sando, but I liked the steaks more.
Second, the yakitori place. Sooo much cheaper than yakitori in the states, and way tastier too. It was actually better than the Michelin star yakitori place we had in New York. Here’s what we got: Chicken skewers with sauce. This was my favorite thing, very flavorful and tender. Pork skewers with sauce. I liked the chicken more, but this was also good. Leek skewers. Good with the meats. Meatball skewers with sauce. Soft and tasty. Shitake skewers. Good as a side. Chicken skin with salt. Very good, nice and crispy. Yaki onigiri. Had a bit too much sauce on the outside, but was still good. Also had some small pieces of preserved plum inside which I don’t like.
Some random cafe. We got oshiruko here (chewy rice balls in a red bean soup). Was quite tasty.
